Helen R Stetzler

Helen R. (Heffner) Stetzler, 88, of Lyon Station, died Tuesday, January 1, 2013 in Kutztown Manor where she was a patient since Friday. She was the widow of Grant J. Stetzler who died September 17, 2006.

Born in Lyon Station, she was a daughter of the late Selas F. and Gertie H. (Hollenbach) Heffner. She was a member of Christ (Mertz) Lutheran Church, Rockland Twp. She worked as a sewing machine operator at the former Fleetwood Blouse Factory for several years. Helen was a life member of Order of the Eastern Star, East Penn Chapter 336, Kutztown.

She is survived by Daughter, Jane L. (Stetzler) Leibensperger companion of Kerry L. Meitzler, Kutztown; Son, Steven G., Sr. husband of Diane E. (Jones) Stetzler, Lyon Station. Other survivors include Brothers, Francis wife of Evelyn (Mock) Heffner, Denver, PA and Malcolm L. Heffner, Basking Ridge, NJ; Grandchildren, Marlowe G., Jr. husband of Erin C. (Konta) Leibensperger, Eric M. husband of Elizabeth (Gardiner) Leibensperger, Victoria D. Stetzler and Steven G. Stetzler, Jr.; Great Grandchildren, Alison E., Ryan M. and Jack M. Leibensperger. She was predeceased by Brothers, Mark, John, Harold, and Walter Heffner and also a Grandson. Brian Leibensperger.

Funeral Services are Saturday, January 5, 2013 10:30 AM from Christ (Mertz) Lutheran Church, 16 Fleetwood Rd., Fleetwood. Interment in Hope Cemetery, Dryville. Friends may call Saturday, from 9:30 to 10:30 AM in the church.

The family requests contributions to the Memorial Fund of Christ (Mertz) Lutheran Church. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
