Helen D Conrad

Helen D. (Hoffman) Conrad, 102, a resident of Phoebe Home, Allentown, formerly of Breinigsville and Emmaus, died Tuesday, March 10, 2015 in the Inpatient Hospice Unit of Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown, where she was a patient for one day. She was the widow of Ernest D. Conrad, who died May 28, 2004 . They were married 73 years at the time of his passing.

Born in Alburtis, she was a daughter of the late Michael M. and Stella M. (Hersh) Hoffman. Mrs. Conrad was a member of the Lutheran Congregation of Huff's Union Church, Alburtis. She was a homemaker .

She is survived by Daughters, Joyce D. (Conrad), widow of Dale A. Diehl, Joan R. (Conrad), wife of Carl P. Heffner, both of Allentown, Nancy F. (Conrad), wife of Charles C. Hoffman, Wescosville; 4 Grandchildren, Ernest D. Diehl, Kelly J. Heffner, Cheryl A. Gross, and Tracy L. Hoffman; and 5 Great Grandchildren, Sara A. Marsh, Justin D. Gross, Courtney T. Gross, Annie Bostick and Emily Bostick. She was predeceased by a Grandson, Jeffrey C. Heffner. She is also survived by a special niece, Betty J. Bauer, Macungie .

Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. Interment will take place in Huffs Church Union Cemetery, Alburtis. There are no calling hours .
