Helen C Ferry

Helen C. Ferry, 77, of Longswamp Township, died Wednesday, October 19, 2011 in her residence. She was the wife of Thomas P. Ferry, Sr. They were married June 11, 1955.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Owen and Kathryn (O’Brien) Keeney. She was a member of Most Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church, Bally. Helen was a member of Golden Agers, at the Cathedral Church of St. Catherine of Siena, Allentown. She worked as a cook for over 20 years in the Brandywine Heights Area School District. Helen enjoyed baking, candy making, and crocheting afghans. She possessed a strong faith.

She is survived by Husband, Sons, Thomas P. Ferry, Jr., Lehigh Valley, John G. Ferry, Laury’s Station, and James P., husband of Debbie L. (Bertram) Ferry, Breinigsville; Sisters, Catherine (Keeney) Ford, Bethlehem, Mary (Keeney) Rafferty, Macungie, and Anna (Keeney) Speaker, Shenandoah, Schuylkill Co.; and Brother, William Keeney, Northampton. She is also survived by Grandchildren, Hethre A. Faust, John J. Ferry, Jeffrey W. Ferry, Tara E. Ferry, Kaitlin M. Ferry, Patrick J. Ferry, Kristie L. Cupples, John A. Cupples, Stacee L. Cupples, and Great Grandchildren, twins Anthony and Alex Ferry, and Hailey M. Cupples. She was pre-deceased by siblings, Margaret (Keeney) Jacobs, John and Eugene Keeney.

A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, October 24, 2011 at 10:30 AM in Most Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church, 610 Pine Street, Bally, PA. Interment in Most Blessed Sacrament Cemetery. Friends may call Monday from 9:00 to 10:15 AM in the church.

The family requests contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 3893 Adler Place, Suite 170, Bethlehem, PA 18017. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Topton, PA.
