Helen B Sunday

Helen B. Sunday, 90, of Drosmo Drive, Mertztown, died Friday, February 16, 2007 in her residence. She was the wife of the late Earl C. Sunday who died on February 1, 1978.

Born in Hamburg, PA she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Mary (Wisser) Merkel. She was a sewing machine operator at Fleetwood Shirt Company, Fleetwood, during the 1970’s. She was a lifetime member of Kutztown Grange, Kutztown. She was a member of Christ (DeLong) UCC Church, Bowers.

She is survived by Daughters, Marie S. wife of Lamar L. Treichler, Kutztown, Mabel H. wife of Angel L. Rivera, Lebanon, Dorothy L. wife of Harold Rimby, Clearwater, FL, Mary A. wife of Lee F. Barto, Shermansdale (Perry Co.); Son, Robert E. husband of Joanne L. (Zentner) Sunday, Bowers; Brothers, Elton, Norman and Earl all of Hamburg; 13 Grandchildren, 23 Great Grandchildren, 2 Step Great Grandchildren, 2 Great Great Grandchildren, 2 Step Great Great Grandchildren. She was predeceased by Sister, Betty Remp and an infant son who was stillborn in 1945.

Funeral Services are Friday, February 23, 2007 at 1:30 PM in the Ludwick Funeral Home, 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown. Interment in St. John’s Cemetery, Hamburg. Friends may call Thursday from 7:00 to 8:30 PM.

The family requests contributions to Lehigh Valley Hospice, 2166 South 12 ^th Street, Allentown, PA 18103. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
