Harry G. Gouldner, 87, of Topton, formerly of Alburtis, died on Sunday, April 3, 2016 in The Lutheran Home at Topton, where he was a resident since February, 2011. He was the widower of Verna H. (Bower) Gouldner who died on April 10, 2007.

Born in Lower Macungie Township, he was a son of the late George L. and Hattie M. (Derr) Gouldner. Mr. Gouldner was a member of Longswamp United Church of Christ, Mertztown. He was a United States Army veteran, who honorably and faithfully served his country in the Korean War. Harry was employed as an auto mechanic at Delabar, Inc., Emmaus and Frey’s Service Station, Allentown until his retirement in 1994. He was a lifetime member of Breinigsville V.F.W. Post 8282. Harry was an avid car enthusiast, who enjoyed working on and taking care of cars.

Harry is survived by a Daughter, Donna L. (Gouldner), wife of William G. Fenstermacher, Jr., Mertztown; Sisters, Elizabeth (Gouldner), wife of Thomas Hemphill, Alburtis, and Ruth (Gouldner), widow of Wesley Holland, Fleetwood. There are also 2 Grandchildren, Joshua L. Bogert and Jenna L. (Fenstermacher), wife of KJ Fry; and one Great Granddaughter, Fiona E. Fry.  He was predeceased by siblings, Grace (Gouldner) Arndt, Roy Gouldner and Howard Gouldner.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 7, 2016 at 11:00 AM in Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 25 East Weis Street, Topton with Reverend Arthur L. Hahn officiating.  Interment, with military honors, will follow in Lehigh Zion Cemetery, Alburtis. Relatives and friends may call on Thursday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the funeral home.
