Harry E Rutkowski

Harry E. Rutkowski, 68, of Mertztown, died Friday, January 2, 2015, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township, shortly after arrival. He was the widower of Mary J. (Fisher) Rutkowski who died March 9, 2005 .

Born in Philadelphia , he was a son of the late Joseph and Goldie M. (Swift) Rutkowski. Harry was a 1964 graduate of William Allen High School, Allentown. Mr. Rutkowski worked as an armored truck driver for Loomis Armored Company until his retirement in 1993. Prior to that, he was employed as a welder on the assembly line at Caloric Corporation, at its former Topton plant. He also was a shop steward for AFL-CIO union .

He is survived by Daughters, Jacqueline S. (Rutkowski), wife of Kerry R. Fegley, Macungie, and Kathleen M. (Rutkowski), wife of Timothy R. Anders, Alburtis; and a Son, Steven E., husband of Bonnie L. (Gutshall) Rutkowski, Orwigsburg, Schuylkill County. Other survivors include 6 Grandchildren, 8 Step Grandchildren and 2 Step Great Grandchildren .

Services are private at the convenience of the family .
