Harold S Gressley

Howard S. Gressley, age 85, of 3122 Woodside Road, Alburtis, died Wednesday, April 23, 2003, in his home. He was married to Marcella (Moyer) Gressley for 62 years in March.

Born in Rockland Township, Berks County, he was a son of the late Sylvester and Carrie B. (Angstadt) Gressley. He was a weaver for Bally Ribbon Mill for 14 years before retiring in 1983. Previously, he was a molder for Eastern Foundry, Macungie, for 12 years. He was a member of the Lutheran Congregation of Huffs Union Church, Alburtis, where he was a former council member and treasurer. He was past member and treasurer of the Brandywine Heights School Board.

He is survived by his Wife; Daughters, Beverly A. Hilbert, Linda L. Lorish and Gail A. Rothermel, all of Alburtis; Brothers, Elvin of Boyertown, Gene of Alexandria, Va.; 5 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren.

Funeral services are 10:30 AM Saturday, April 26, 2003 in the Huffs Union Church. Friends may call 9:30 to10:30 AM Saturday in the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to the church capital improvement fund. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Topton, PA.
