Hannah H Berger

Hannah H. (Hoffman) Berger, 78, of Devon House, Allentown, formerly of Richmond Township, died peacefully on Saturday, April 29, 2017, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. She was the loving wife of the late Warren W. Berger.

Born in West Reading, Hannah was a daughter of the late George M., and Helen M. (Kauffman) Hoffman. Mrs. Berger was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Kutztown, where she was a candy maker. Hannah and her late husband, Warren, owned and operated a dairy and crop farm in Richmond Township. She enjoyed sewing, cross-stitch and was an avid Philadelphia Phillies fan.

Hannah is survived by her Daughters, Janice M. (Berger), wife of James A. Eisenhart, Macungie; Brenda B. (Berger), wife of Joel E. Conaway, Allentown; and Karen K. (Berger) Haupt, Nags Head, NC. Other survivors include 4 Grandchildren, Laura A. Conaway, Lindsay M. Conaway, Emily E. Haupt and Christopher B. Conaway who brought her much joy and many smiles.

Funeral services for Hannah will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2017, at 10:30 AM from St. John's United Church of Christ, 257 West Walnut Street, Kutztown. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Kutztown. Relatives and friends may call on Friday evening, from 6:30 to 8:00 PM in Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, and Saturday, from 10:00 to 10:30 AM in the church.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Hannah's memory to Children's Dyslexia Center, 1544 Hamilton Street, Allentown, PA 18102. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
