Gregory Hunsberger

Gregory Hunsberger, 83, of Albany Township, died peacefully in his home surrounded by his family on Thursday, March 17, 2022.  Born in Cementon, Whitehall Township, Lehigh County, Gregory was a son of the late William and Helen (Karc) Hunsberger.

Gregory was employed as a welder for Hale Trailer, Brake & Wheel, Cetronia, for 47 years until his retirement in 2009.  Gregory also owned and operated Hunsberger Welding for 20 years.

Gregory enjoyed hunting and native trout fishing, traveling to Atlantic City and Sands Casino in Bethlehem.  He was a member of Lackawanna County Federation of Sportsmen's Club.

Gregory is survived by his children:  David  C., husband of Ginny (Henderson) of Elizabethtown, Lancaster County; Sharon L. Reichenbach of Allentown; Becky A. of Kutztown; Michael J., husband of Cynthia L. (Moser) of Kempton; grandchildren: Amber Ebert of Catasauqua; Colin (Kendra) Hunsberger of Douglasville; Samantha Reichenbach (Sheena) of Madelia, MN; Emery Hunsberger (Kylee) of Kempton; Aiyanna DeBello of Kutztown; Sora DeBello of Kutztown; Kaya DeBello of Kutztown; Zackari Staples (Billie) of Mohnton; great grandchildren: Rahzmier Ebert of Macon, GA; Jacoby Ebert of Catasauqua; Aeroe Lamour of Catasauqua; Arjae Lamour of Catasauqua; Nevaeh Staples of Mohnton and Elijah Staples of Mohton; and sister, Marlene, widow of Kenneth Ritter, Allentown.  In addition to his parents, Gregory was predeceased by a daughter, Connie V. Hunsberger; a grandson, Matthew G. Ebert; and brothers: Arnold, Darryll; and Gerald.

A family directed memorial service to celebrate and honor Greg's life will be held on Tuesday, March 22, 2022, at 4:00 p.m. in Salem E. C. Church, 2150 Olde Route 22, Lenhartsville, PA 19534, with The Rev. David Long, officiating.  Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. in the church.  Inurnment will be private at the convenience of the family.

The family suggests, in lieu of flowers, contributions be considered to Salem E. C. Church, 2150 Olde Route 22, Lenhartsville, PA  19534.
