Grace J Howerter

Grace J. Howerter, 76, of Walker Road, Macungie (Longswamp Township), died Monday, June 14, 2004, in St. Lukes’s Hospital, Allentown Campus, Allentown shortly after admission. She was the widow of Paul E. Howerter who died on September 12, 2003.

Born in Allentown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Henry and the late Caroline (Richter) Schlosser. She along with her husband owned and operated the former Paul’s Garage, Mertztown, from 1972 to 1976. She was a member of the Lutheran congregation of Huff’s Union Church, Alburtis.

She is survived by Sons, Rev. Bruce R. Howerter, Tarpon Springs, FL, Keith S. Howerter, Mertztown; 2 Grandchildren.

Funeral Services are Saturday, June 19, 2004 at 10:30 AM from Huff’s Union Church, 540 Conrad Road, Alburtis. Interment in Huff’s Church Union Cemetery, Alburtis. Friends may call Saturday from 9:00 to 10:30 AM. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Topton, PA.
