Grace E Kern

Grace E. Kern, 82, of Fleetwood, died Wednesday, September 29, 2010 in her residence. She was the wife of the late William J. Kern who died January 30, 2002.

Born in Longswamp Township, she was a daughter of the late Charles W. and Lila M. (Greiss) Kemp. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Topton. She was employed as a folder by the former Marcus Manufacturing Co., Topton, for 39 years retiring in 1990.

She is survived by Son, Larry G. husband of Linda L. (Hertzog) Kern, with whom she resided; Sisters, Florence E. (Kemp) wife of Glenroy P. Meck, Macungie, Alice J. (Kemp) widow of John Brensinger, Lewisburg, PA; Brother, Woodrow Wilson husband of Catherine Kemp, Alburtis. She is also survived by Granddaughters Lynn L. (Kern) wife of David E. Phillips, Rockland Township, Lisa A. (Kern) wife of Scott D. Ziegler, Oley, 10 Great Grandchildren and 5 Great Great-Grandchildren. She was predeceased by several brothers and sisters.

Graveside services will be Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at 11:00 AM in Topton Union Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Topton, PA.
