Grace H. Bower

Grace H. (Johnson) Bower, 83, formerly of Topton, PA, passed away on Saturday, September 12, 2026 in Willow Brook Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Kutztown, PA. Born in Allentown, PA, Grace was a daughter of the late Leslie Johnson and Carrie Mae (Hilbert) Amig.

Grace was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Mertztown. She worked for 20 years as a clerk/attendant at Bandit Truck Stop, New Smithville, until her retirement in 2023. Grace was a cherished member of her community, known for her warm smile and kind heart. She also had a special love for cats.

Grace is survived by her sons, Darren Angstadt, Wisconsin, and Darvin Angstadt, Topton. She was predeceased by a son, Duane Angstadt on January 3, 1993, and a sister, Deborah (Johnson) Stas on December 16, 2014.

Graveside services for Grace will be held privately, at the convenience of her family in St. Paul's Cemetery, Mertztown.
