Gordon R Eisenhard

Gordon R. Eisenhard, 71, of Barto, died Sunday, February 8, 2015 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township, where he was a patient since February 2, 2015. He was the husband of Iris D. (Kline) Eisenhard. They were married July 6, 1963 .

Born in Bechtelsville, he was a son of the late Stanley M. and Virginia V. (Moyer) Eisenhard. Mr. Eisenhard was a member of the Lutheran congregation of Saint Peter's Union Church, Macungie.  Gordon was employed as an auto body technician for over 30 years at Fred Beans Ford, Boyertown, until his retirement in 2008. Gordon enjoyed working on cars and woodworking .

He is survived by Wife, Iris; Daughter, Wanda L. (Eisenhard) wife of Brian C. Bartholomew, Hamburg; Sons, Gordon S. husband of Susan D. (Bigley) Eisenhard, Pennsburg, Montgomery County and Keith A. Eisenhard, Barto. Other survivors include a Brother, David L. Eisenhard, Boyertown. There are 2 Grandsons, Brian C. Bartholomew, Jr., and Cory J. Bartholomew, both of Hamburg. Gordon was predeceased by a Brother, Rodney E. Eisenhard .

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, February 12, 2015 at 11:00 AM from Saint Peter's Union Church, 7863 St. Peter's Church Road, Macungie, with Reverend Jerel W. Gade, officiating. Interment in Saint Peter's Union Cemetery, Macungie. Friends may call Thursday, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the church .
