Glenn D. Good, 63, of Tamaqua, died Monday, April 25, 2011 in his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Rhoda L. (Hostetter) Good. They were married 43 years this past July.
Born in Lancaster County, he was a son of the late Clyde M. and Elizabeth H. (Keagy) Good. He was a member of New England Valley Mennonite Church, Tamaqua. He was employed from 1972 until his retirement in 1994 as a carpenter at for Earl W. Horst Construction, Tamaqua.
He is survived by Wife; Step Mother, Kathryn R. (Graybill) Good, Richfield, Juniata County; Daughters, Wilma J. (Good) wife of Wesley S. Newswanger, Denver, Lancaster County, Kristine M. Good, at home; Sons, David L. husband of Rachel L. (Putt) Good, Schuylkill Haven, Timothy D. husband of Laraine K. (Shank) Good, Bernville, Berks County, Jonathan C. Good, at home and Justin L. Good, Lyons, NY. Other survivors include a Sister, Nancy E. (Good) wife of Nelson C. Martin, Mount Etna, Berks County. There are also 15 Grandchildren. Mr. Good was predeceased by a Sister, Joyce A. (Good) Sensenig; and a Granddaughter, Shonda Good.
Funeral Services are Thursday, April 28, 2011 at 10:00 AM. from New England Valley Mennonite Church, Valley Road, Tamaqua. Interment in the adjoining cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday, from 3:00 to 4:30 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM in the church.
