Glenn D. Fenstermacher, 81, died Saturday, July 24, 2010 at his home in Lyon Station, Pa. He was the husband of Jacqueline K. (Wasser) Fenstermacher, They were married for 55 years.
Born in Topton, he was a son of the late Leon and Sally (Dankel) Fenstermacher. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War and was employed by Caloric Corporation at its former Topton plant for more than 45 years until his retirement.
He is survived by Wife; Daughter, Lori (Fenstermacher), wife of Robert Greenawalt, Manassas, VA; Sons, Kurt, husband of Elaine (Falcone) Fenstermacher, Gilbertsville, and Bart, husband of Erin (Cooney) Fenstermacher, Lyon Station. In addition, there are Grandchildren, Abby and Andrew Greenawalt, Daniel Fenstermacher, Zachary and Jacob Fenstermacher. He also is survived by his Sisters, Edna (Fenstermacher) Tumulty and Jean (Fenstermacher) Szoke, his Mother-in-law, Lillian (Mosser) Wasser, and his Brother-in-law, Glenn Allen Wasser. He was predeceased by his Brother, Clayton.
Memorial Services are Wednesday, July 28, 2010, 1:30 PM in the Ludwick Funeral Home, 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown. Private inurnment will be held in Lyons Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Friends may call Wednesday, from 12:30 to 1:30 PM in the funeral home. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
