Gladys M Werley

Gladys M. (DeCarli) Werley, 74, of Kutztown, died Tuesday, May 5, 2015 in Saint Joseph Medical Center, Bern Township, surrounded by loved ones. She was the wife of Charles W. Werley, whom she married January 5, 1962 .

Born in Peckville, Lackawanna County, she was a daughter of the late Primo and Mary K. (Tini) DeCarli. Mrs. Werley was a member of Saint Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Kutztown. She worked at Kutztown University for a total of 35 years, including 20 years as a clerk in the bookstore. She also worked at the snack bars and dining services. Mrs. Werley was an avid supporter of the Kutztown Youth Athletic Association (KYAA) and the East Penn Chargers Football .

She is survived by Husband, Charles; Daughters, Kim M. (Werley), wife of Timothy R. Smith, Kutztown and Dawn (Werley), wife of Kevin P. Raudenbush, Leesport; Sons, Scott, husband of Jean M. (Cuomo) Werley, Palmyra, VA and Eric W. Werley, Kutztown; Sister, Monessa (DeCarli), wife of Gary Bova, Oklahoma City, OK; brother, Alfonso, husband of Terri DeCarli, Pasadena, MD . She is also survived by 12 Grandchildren, Samantha N. Smith, Sarah T. Smith, Kyle W. Raudenbush, Luke C. Raudenbush, Jacob L. Raudenbush, Monika A. Raudenbush, Brad S. Werley, Bryan S. Werley, Hunter G. Werley, Tony Denierio, Nick Denierio and Katiann Amidon; and a long-time family friend, Kathy Schlenker, Kutztown. She was predeceased by a Brother in infancy, Baby Richard.

A celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, May 10, 2015 at 2:00 PM in Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, with Celebrant Daniel J. Raudenbush officiating. Relatives and friends may call Sunday afternoon from 1:00 to 2:00 PM in the funeral home. Inurnment will be private .
