Gladys J Bellis Eroh

Gladys J. (Mohr) Bellis Eroh, 94, of Longswamp Township , died Friday, December 5, 2014 in her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was the widow of Clyde Eroh. Her first husband, Norman C. Bellis died in 1989 .

Born in Bethlehem , she was a daughter of the late Robert G. and Gertrude (Mertz) Mohr. Mrs. Bellis Eroh was a very active member of Macungie Church of the Nazarene, Macungie. She was employed as a waitress by several area restaurants including the former Walp's Restaurant, Allentown, and the former Monterey Inn, Maxatawny. Mrs. Bellis Eroh also worked as a home-care aide. She played the bass fiddle in an all-women's band during the World War II era. Mrs. Bellis Eroh was a member of the Claussville Garden Club for many years .

She is survived by Daughter, Sharon D. (Bellis), wife of Clarence J. Howe, Mertztown; 9 Grandchildren, Norman, Lucetta, Calvin, Tonia, Melissa, Cynthia, James, Crystal-LuAnn, Todd; 10 Great Grandchildren, Tyler, Jordan, Dylan, Elijah, Kyrea, Gabrielle, Mario, Andrew, Juan, Jr., Krystal; and one Great-Great Grandson, Giovanni. She was predeceased by an infant Son, Thomas Benjamin Eroh in 1937; a Grandson, Kevin Howe in 1994; Sisters, Elsie Marson, Dorothy Johnson, Elizabeth Moyer; and Brothers, Kenneth Mohr and Robert Mohr .

Memorial Services will be held Monday, December 15, 2014 at 11:00 AM in Macungie Church of the Nazarene, 3800 Brookside Road, Macungie, with Reverend Gary Creely and Reverend Crystal Howe officiating. Relatives and friends may call Monday morning, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the church. Inurnment will be private .

The family requests contributions be made to Macungie Church of the Nazarene, 3800 Brookside Road, Macungie, PA  18062 . Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Topton, PA.
