Gladys C Meyer

Gladys C. (Franke) Meyer, 93, of Kutztown died Tuesday, September 29, 2015 in Lehigh Center, Macungie. She was the widow of John C. Meyer, Sr., who died in 1983.

Born in New York City, NY, she was a daughter of the late Frederick and Caroline (Rau) Franke. Mrs. Meyer was Lutheran in faith. She was employed as a telephone operator in New York City by Bell Telephone Company for many years and later was a customer service representative for Bell at JFK International Airport. She was also on the New York staff of U. S. Congressman John W. Wydler.

She is survived by Son, John C. Meyer, Jr., Lyon Station; Two Grandchildren, John C. Meyer, III and Scott R. Meyer; Niece and Two Nephews, Deb, Ed and Fred Franke.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
