Geraldyne E Sitler

Geraldyne E. Sitler, 88, of Maxatawny Township, died Friday, December 12, 2008 in the In-Patient Hospice Unit of Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown, where she was a patient since December 8, 2008. She was the widow of Russell S. Katz, an architectural designer formerly of Hamilton, OH, who died in 1966 and James C. Sittler, former owner of Sittler’s Golf, Kutztown, who died in 1990.

Born in Hamilton, OH, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Janet (Hayes) Evans. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Allentown. She, along with her second husband owned and operated Sittler’s Mobile Home Park, Maxatawny Township. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

She is survived by Sons, Michael V. husband of Donna D. (Lent) Katz, Maxatawny Township, Patrick P. husband of Sandra L. (Graffe) Katz, Hamilton, OH; Step Son, Wiley C. Sittler husband of Judith Weaver, State College. In addition, there are 3 Step Grandchildren, John, Lara, and David Sittler; Great Grandson, Shawn S. Katz; Sister, Marie (Evans) Wilkinson, Lake Forest, Ill. She was preceded in death by Granddaughter, Jessica L. Katz; Sisters, Janet (Evans) Klinger, formerly of Hamburg, Mary Ann (Evans) Doerpers, formerly of Hamilton, OH; and a Brother, Dr. Richard E. Evans, formerly of Dayton, OH.

Funeral Services are Monday, December 15, 2008, 2:00 p.m. from Ludwick Funeral Home, 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown. Interment in Hope Cemetery, Kutztown. Friends may call Monday, from 1:00 to 2:00 PM. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
