Geraldine C. (Worrell) Fenstermacher, 81, formerly of Mertztown, passed away on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 in The Lutheran Home at Topton. Born in Media, PA, Geraldine was a daughter of the late Marshall Worrell, Jr., and Anna (Pietrowski) Worrell. During her career as a Waitress and Server, Geraldine was employed by the Trivit Diner, Emmaus, Bear Swamp Diner, Macungie, and Hometown Diner, Breinigsville. Geraldine was an avid bowler and was a member of several local bowling leagues. She also was a die-hard Elvis and Elvis music fan.
Geraldine is survived by her seven children, Donna K. (Fenstermacher) Loos, companion of Michael Melnyk, Jr., Mertztown, Susan G. (Fenstermacher), wife of Patrick Taylor, Allentown, Steven D., husband of Karen (Lower) Fenstermacher, Mertztown, Jacqueline A. (Fenstermacher), wife of Raymond Wolfgang, Harrisburg, Thomas G., husband of Erinn (Hess) Fenstermacher, Collegeville, William M., husband of Midia (Caban) Fenstermacher, Alburtis, and Rebecca L. (Fenstermacher), wife of John Reinhard, Leesport; and sister, Nancy A. (Worrell) Oswald, Mertztown.
She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, Brandon D. Herman, Tyler B. Herman, Amanda K. Carbone, Jordan R. Hoffer, Meagan R. Loos, Alexis M. Fenstermacher, Jacob W. Fenstermacher, Hannah R. Fenstermacher, Anna Wolfgang, Samantha Wolfgang, Emma Reinhard, Quinn Reinhard, and Josephine Fenstermacher; and five great-grandchildren, Hayes Herman, Mia Rose Longo, Theodore Drew Longo, Gabrielle Carbone and Alaina Rose Hoffer.
Along with her parents, Geraldine was predeceased by her grandson, Michael Melnyk, III, her great-granddaughter, Olivia Herman, and her siblings, Marshall Worrell, III, and Kathleen D. (Worrell) Bailey.
A memorial service to celebrate and honor Geraldine's life will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in Ludwick Funeral Homes and Cremation Care, Inc., 25 E. Weis Street, Topton, PA. Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. A lunch will be held following the service at Ray A. Master Post 217, American Legion Banquet Hall, 133 Centre Avenue, Topton, PA. The family requests those who attend to come in casual attire.
