George T Hottenstein

George T. Hottenstein, 72, of Fleetwood, died Friday, February 8, 2008 in Good Shepherd Specialty Hospital at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg, where he was admitted January 29, 2008 from Lehigh Valley Hospital where he was a patient since January 9, 2008. He was the husband of Betty J. (Zettlemoyer) Hottenstein, they were married January 23, 1954.

Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Lester and Pearl (Adams) Hottenstein. He was employed by Lehigh-Portland Cement Company, Evansville, for 45 years last working as a truck driver. He retired in 1999. He was a member of Fleetwood Grange #1839 for many years. He was a member of Saint Paul’s Lutheran Church, Fleetwood.

He is survived by Wife, Daughter, Cynthia P. (Hottenstein) Schwab companion of Daniel L. Hinnershitz, Blandon; Son, Thomas G. husband of Judy S. (Fick) Hottenstein, Kutztown; Sister, Lillian M. (Hottenstein) Kline, Walnuttown; Grandchildren, Jennifer A. Goggins, Cale T. Hottenstein, Michael D. Schwab and Great Grandson, Joseph D. Goggins. He was predeceased by Granddaughter, Michele L. Ulrich who died November 27, 1980.

Funeral Services are Tuesday, February 12, 2008 at 10:30 AM from Ludwick Funeral Home, 25 East Weis Street, Topton. Interment in Saint John’s Gernants Cemetery, Ontelaunee Township. Friends may call Tuesday from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM.
