George L Morstatt

George L. Morstatt, 76, of Macungie, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family, on Saturday, October 24, 2015. He was the husband of the late June E. (Scholl) Morstatt, whom he shared 36 years of marriage before her death on January 7, 2011.

Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late George and Cecelia (Sherer) Morstatt. George was a self-employed residential carpenter for over 46 years, retiring in 2005. George had a love for the outdoors. He especially enjoyed fishing and boating in Canada, camping and backyard bonfires with his family.

He is survived by Daughters, Kimberly A. (Morstatt), wife of R. Keith Landis, Michele (Morstatt), wife of Charles J. Angell, Pamela S. (Morstatt) Kulp, all of Macungie; Sons, George A., husband of Tammie L. (Belles) Morstatt, Zionsville, Michael J., husband of Cindy (Esteves) Morstatt, Emmaus, Keith A. Morstatt, companion of Christa M. Minnich, Macungie, Randall S., husband of Michele L. (McCarroll) Morstatt, Kempton, Stepdaughter, Bonnie L. (Derr) Hager, Salisbury, MD; 19 Grandchildren; and his four-legged companion, Woofer.

A Celebration of George's Life will be private at the convenience of the family.
