Gary G. Grim

Gary G. "Bones" Grim, 67, of Bowers, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. He was the companion of Melanie L. Rose. Born in Allentown, Gary was a son of the late Alfred G. and Rachel M. (Walbert) Grim. Gary was a member of Christ (DeLong) United Church of Christ Church, Bowers.

Gary was a graduate of Kutztown Area Senior High School, Kutztown, PA, Class of 1977.

Gary was the Owner and Operator of Grim's Trailers and Snowplows, Bowers, for 40 years.

Bones was a member of Rockland Rod & Gun Club, Mertztown; Mertztown Rod & Gun Club, Mertztown; Kutztown Rod & Gun Club, Kutztown; North End Rod & Gun Club, New Tripoli; Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie 839, Kutztown; Kutztown Beneficial Association, Kutztown; Lyons Fire Company, Lyon Station; Oley Fire Company, Oley; Ray A. Master Post 217 American Legion, Son's of the American Legion, Topton; Pike Township Sportmen's Association, Oley; and Topton Community Outreach Club, Topton.

Gary enjoyed hunting and attending hunting camp. He also enjoyed Jeep Racing. He enjoyed socializing at the many civic organizations he belonged to and participating in their many activities.

In addition to his companion Melanie, Gary is survived by his sister Rosanne M. (Grim), wife of Raymond O. Kegerise, Mertztown; and a brother, William E. Grim, Brigantine, New Jersey. Other survivors include his beloved nieces and nephews: Cory R. Kegerise, companion of Michael Polimeno, Philadelphia; Melanie A. (Kegerise), wife of Joshua D. Sheetz, Fleetwood; and Ryan E. Kegerise and his wife Emily Kegerise, Lehighton. There are also great nieces and nephews: Adalynn G. Sheetz; Maverick A. Kegerise and Zoey H. Sheetz.

A Memorial Service to honor and celebrate Gary's life will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at 11:30 a.m. in Ludwick Funeral Homes and Cremation Care, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, with The Reverend Martin A. Milne, officiating. Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Inurnment in Union Cemetery of Bowers is private at the convenience of the family.
