Gail J Acker

Gail J. Acker, 66, of Kutztown, died Tuesday, March 29, 2011 in her residence. She was the companion of 33 years to William Brobst, with whom she resided. She was the widow of Martin Acker.

Born in Sayre, Bradford County, she was a daughter of the late Lamont B. and Catherine M. (Wells) Vanderpool. She was a member of Bethel Church of the Nazarene, Kutztown. She was employed as a custodian over 20 years at Kutztown University, Kutztown until her retirement in 2007.

She is survived by Companion, Sisters, Ethel E. (Vanderpool) wife of Francis J. Vanderpool, Lyon Station, Linda L. (Vanderpool) wife of Gregory A. Stufflet, Fleetwood, Donna M. Vanderpool, Lyon Station and Doris A. (Vanderpool) Orth, Kutztown; Brothers, Lyle L. Vanderpool, White Settlement, TX, Paul P. Vanderpool, Sayre, Albert A. Vanderpool, Athens, Bradford County, and Robert R. Vanderpool, Hamburg. She was predeceased by a Daughter, Lisa Homan who died in 1995, a Twin Brother, Dale D. Vanderpool who died January 6, 2011, John J. Vanderpool, who died January 19, 1987, Ernest E. Vanderpool who died October 8, 1982 and Richard R. Vanderpool who died December 24, 1973.

Services are private at the convenience of the family.
