Fred W. Kemmerer, 91, of Kutztown, died Wednesday, September 7, 2011 in his residence. He was the companion of June Derr, Fleetwood, and the widower of Mae (Adam) Kemmerer.
Born in Richmond Township, he was a son of the late Samuel and Evada (Berk) Kemmerer. He was a self employed farmer. He was also employed as a night watchman by the former Red Cheek Apple Juice Co., Fleetwood, for 20 years, and worked part time as a road worker and mechanic for Richmond Township.
He is survived by Companion, Daughter, Diane L. (Kemmerer) Hoster, Green Hills, PA; Step Sisters, Lillian (Stauffer) wife of Ralph H. Berger, Fleetwood, Arline G. (Stauffer) wife of Glenn Dietrich, Kutztown, Eleanor M. (Stauffer) wife of Warren W. Wanner, Fleetwood; Caretaker, Clinton A.H. Sechler, Kutztown. He is also survived by 2 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren. He was predeceased by a Brother, Samuel F.C. Kemmerer, Sister, Annabelle M. (Kemmerer) Levan, and a Grandson.
Funeral Services are Monday, September 12, 2011, at 11:00 AM in the Ludwick Funeral Home, 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, 19530. Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Kutztown. Friends may call Monday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the funeral home. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
