Frank Mittl

Frank Mittl, age 70, of Quarry Road, Kutztown PA, died Saturday, October 5, 2002 in his home. He was the Husband of Shirley A. (Scheirer) Mittl. The couple celebrated their 44th Wedding Anniversary this past December.

Born in Upper Nazareth Township PA, he was the Son of the late Stephen and Mary (Kocan) Mittl. He was employed at Robert A. Reichard Fertilizer Company, Allentown; after that he worked for the former Van Brunt & Son, Inc., Kutztown, for 30 years retiring in 1994. After his retirement he worked for Ryder Truck Rental, Reading for 2 years. He was a Member and Former Council Member of Saint Paul's Lutheran Church, Mertztown PA. He was a Veteran of the United States Army having served during the Korean War.

He is survived by his Wife; Sons, Michael F. Mittl of Mesa AZ and Craig A. Mittl of Kutztown PA; Brothers, Alex W. Mittl of Kutztown PA and John Mittl of Sandpoint ID; Sister, Helen (Mittl) Fischer of Coatsville PA; and 1 Grandson.

Funeral Services will be held 10:30 AM Wednesday, October 9, 2002 from Saint Paul's Lutheran Church, 50 Luther Drive, Mertztown PA. Interment with Military Honors in Zion Maxatawny Union Cemetery, Maxatawny. Family and Friends may call 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM Wednesday in the Church. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., Kutztown PA.
