Frank M Schneider

Frank M. Schneider, 73, of New Smithville Road, Kutztown (Weisenberg Township, Lehigh County), died Saturday, June 4, 2005, in his home. Married for 46 years to his “Honey Bunches” Ann D. (Dolan) Schneider, they were married February 7, 1959.

Born October 6, 1931 in Queens Borough, NY, he was the son of the late Frank J. and late Catherine (Beitter) Schneider. He was founder and operator of Schneider Sales in 1983 and worked until his retirement in 1997. Prior to that, he was employed in Sales by NCR Corporation working in both the Reading and Philadelphia offices. He worked for Olivetti in the same capacity in both the Brooklyn and Philadelphia offices. He first worked as a broker for Merrill Lynch, New York. He was a US Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a member of Saint Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, Kutztown, where he was a member of the Renew Group. He applied his varied talents from Wall Street, to his own business, to his lifelong passion for the ponies. His joie-de-vivre was irrepressible. He loved everyone and made sure they knew it. He will be remembered for his embracing spirit, unconditional acceptance of others, and his commitment to all that is right and good. His spirit will live on in the many better for having known him.

He is survived by Wife, Sons, Francis M. Schneider, New York, NY, Stephen J. Schneider, New Smithville, Paul A. Schneider, Bridgewater, NJ; Daughters, Catherine M. Schneider-Konopelski, Yorkville, Ill, Ann J. (Schneider) Wexler, Macungie, PA; Grandchildren, Stephanie J. Schneider, Rachel A. Schneider, Jennifer Schneider, Michael S. Schneider, MaryKathryn Wexler, Madison Ann Wexler, Matthew J. Konopelski, and Daniel F. Konopelski; and extended family and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial is Thursday, June 9, 2005, at 9:30 AM from St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 14833 Kutztown Road, Kutztown, 19530. Interment with Military Honors in Resurrection Cemetery, Wescoesville. Friends may call Wednesday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 PM in the church.

The family requests contributions to Saint Mary’s Church, 14833 Kutztown Road, Kutztown, PA 19530. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
