Frank Young Dill Jr.

Frank Young Dill, Jr., 81, of Kutztown and formerly of Boyertown, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 18, 2026 in his residence. He was the loving husband of Gail (Fisher) Dill, with whom he shared nearly 60 years of marriage.

Born in Pottstown, PA, Frank was the son of the late Frank Young Dill, Sr., and Jeanne (Sands) Dill. He was a 1963 graduate of Boyertown High School and then attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where he received his Bachelor of Science in Mathematics degree in 1967. He later continued his education by attending the University of Pennsylvania where he earned his Master's degree in Computer Science in December 2000.

Frank began working for his family business, Sands Sporting Goods in Boyertown, at a young age. He later took over management of the business and continued to run it until his retirement at the end of 1999. Frank was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church of Boyertown and had a passion for history and genealogy. He enjoyed researching his family history, spending time with his family, watching movies with his grandchildren, and taking drives in his convertible. Frank's family will always remember him for his intelligence, generosity and sense of humor.

Along with his wife Gail, Frank is survived by his two children, Catherine Dill, Kutztown, PA, and Frank Dill, III, Belmont, MA; two grandchildren, Zoe Dill and Riley Dill; and a sister, Jenny Dill Clark, Boyertown, PA.

Services will be held privately by his family in Fairview Cemetery, Boyertown.
