Frank C. Guldin, 60, of Lyons, died Wednesday, December 2, 2009 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township where he was a patient since November 18, 2009. He was the husband of Sheila D. (Pullum) Guldin.
Born in Reading, PA, he was a son of the late Jesse G. and Betty I. (Brownell) Guldin. He was a member of Hope Lutheran Church, Bowers. He was a foreman for W. E. Yoder, Inc. for 30 over thirty years last working in October. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, serving during the Vietnam War. He was a former Trustee and member of Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie 839, Kutztown where he was an advocate for the Families-In-Need Fund, where those less fortunate in our community were provided with holiday meals and children were provided with gifts; a member of Ray A. Master, Post 217, American Legion, Topton, and the Ginter-Koppenheffer Post 5750 Veterans of Foreign Wars, Hamburg.
He is survived by Wife, Daughter, Kim L. Guldin; Son, Chad A. Guldin. Also surviving are 3 Grandchildren, Jazzmyn K. and Gretel M. Guldin and Andre D. K. Lane; in addition there Sisters, Mary, Betty, Linda, Roberta, Patricia, Anna, Barbara and Connie; Brother, Jesse. He was predeceased by a Sister, Shirley and a Brother, George.
Funeral Services are Tuesday evening, December 8, 2009, at 7:30 PM in Ludwick Funeral Home, 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown. Inurnment with military honors performed by Ray A. Master American Legion Post #217, Topton will be Saturday, December 12, 2009 at 10:00 AM in Topton American Legion Garden of Honor, Topton. Friends and family may call Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 7:30 PM in the funeral home.
The family requests contributions be made to the Fraternal Order of Eagles Families-In-Need Fund, 209 West Main Street, Kutztown, 19530. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
