Francis Dewitt Burdge

Francis DeWitt “Frank” Burdge, 68, of Topton, died unexpectedly Saturday, August 20, 2016 in his residence. He was the husband of Yvonne F. (Wetzel) Burdge. They were married July 7, 1978.

Born in Morristown, NJ, he was a son of the late DeWitt, Jr., and Lucy (Cook) Burdge. Frank was employed 19 years by Redner's Warehouse Markets, until his retirement. He was a member of Lyons Fire Company, Lyon Station.

In addition to his Wife of 38 years, Yvonne, Frank is survived by a Son, Justin C. Burdge, companion of Angelica R. Trego, Alburtis; a Daughter, Christin M. Burdge, companion of Darrell L. Rothermel, Fleetwood. Other survivors include 3 Grandchildren, Leah M. and Ashlyn F. Burdge and Joelle L. Rothermel.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2016, at 10:30 AM from Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 25 East Weis Street, Topton, with Reverend Alton R. Zentner, officiating. Relatives and friends may call on Saturday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.  Inurnment will be private at the convenience of the family.
