Florence M Hilbert

Florence M. (Reinert) Hilbert, 92, of Macungie, died Wednesday, February 3, 2015 in her residence. She was the widow of Paul C. Hilbert, who died August 8, 2011.

Born in District Township, Berks County, she was a daughter of the late Fred A. Reinert and Edna (Hunter) Reinert. Florence was a 1941 graduate of Boyertown High School. She was a homemaker and farmer's wife for many years, taking care of the cooking, cleaning and other chores that needed to get done on the family farm. Mrs. Hilbert was also a caregiver to her husband, Paul when he became ill. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by a Son, Ronald G., husband of Ellen (Black) Hilbert, Magnolia, New Jersey; Daughter, Lanette A. (Hilbert), wife of Lester S. Kemmerer, Macungie; 5 Grandchildren, Jessica C. (Hilbert), wife of Edward Zyak, Cory L. Kemmerer, Devin T. Kemmerer, Jacy J. Kemmerer, Mathew R. Hilbert; and 7 Great Grandchildren, Madison J. Harkins, Samuel P. Zyak, Jaden B. Harkins, Kayla A. Harkins, Emma J. Zyak, Landon C. McGill and Cooper L. McGill. Florence was predeceased by 2 Brothers and 2 Sisters.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 8, 2016 at 11:00 AM in Fleetwood Bible Church, 2847 Moselem Springs Road, Fleetwood, with Reverend Dr. Timothy R. Valentino officiating. Interment will follow in Saint Paul's Union Cemetery, Fleetwood. Relatives and friends may call on Monday morning from 10:30 to 11:00 AM in the church.
