Fern M Kutz

Fern M. (Dreibelbis) Kutz, 87, formerly of Kutztown, died Thursday, December 18, 2014, in Laurel Center, Tilden Township, where she resided for one month. She was the widow of Harvey N. Kutz, Jr., who died September 17, 1999 .

Born in Weisenberg Township, Lehigh County, she was a daughter of the late Paul A. and E. Helen (Ebert) Dreibelbis. Mrs. Kutz was a member of Saint Paul's United Church of Christ, Kutztown. Fern, along with her late husband owned and operated the former Kutz's Pennsylvania Dutch Shop, Kutztown for 37 years until their retirement in 1999 .

She is survived by Daughter, Susan M. Kutz, New Mexico. Other survivors include a Sister, Shirley K. (Dreibelbis) wife of George Williams, Allentown; Niece and caregiver, Dorothy Kaminski, Hamburg. There are also several other nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a Sister, Betty A. (Dreibelbis) Dietrich .

Graveside Services will be held on Friday, December 26, 2014 at 1:30 PM in Berks County Memorial Gardens, 201 Evansville Road, Fleetwood, PA 19522, with her pastor, The Reverend John W. Davies, officiating. There is no viewing .

The family requests contributions be made to Saint Paul's United Church of Christ, 47 S. Whiteoak Street, Kutztown, PA 19530 . Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
