Faye A. Rohrbach

Faye A. Rohrbach, 80, formerly of Mertztown, died Thursday, January 30, 2025, in The Lutheran Home at Topton, Longswamp Township, where she was a resident for three years. She was the widow of Warren D. Rohrbach, who died April 4, 1997. Born in Mertztown, Faye was a daughter of the late Elmer W., and Beulah M. (Hilbert) Oswald. She was a former member of Christian Congregation Church, Mertztown.

Faye was a graduate of Brandywine Heights High School, Class of 1962. She was employed as a salesclerk at Walmart and the former Kings Department Store, Lanes, and Jamesway.

Faye liked to crochet, play games on her Kindle, go to the casino and play cards with her friends. She also loved her cats. Most important to Faye was being "Nanny" to her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Faye is survived by three daughters: Connie L. (Rohrbach) Geist, companion of Robert VanValkenberg, Mertztown; Tracy A. (Rohrbach), wife of Keith Boyer, Fleetwood; and Sheri L. (Rohrbach), wife of Timothy Furry, Concord Township, OH. Other survivors include five grandchildren: Kyle Geist, Sara Rarick, Kayla Geist, Matthew Boyer and Nicholas Furry; Great Grandchildren: Paislee Geist, Ryder Rarick, Maci Rarick, and Henry Boyer. In addition to her husband, Warren, and parents, Faye was predeceased by six brothers: Robert, Ray, Richard, George, John, and Charlie Oswald; and two sisters: Beulah (Oswald) Bogert; and Betty (Oswald) Hilbert.

A private graveside service to honor and celebrate Faye's life will be held at the convenience of the family at Berks County Memorial Gardens, Fleetwood, PA.
