Evelyn R Herman

Evelyn R. Herman, 95, of Topton, and formerly of Allentown, died Saturday, May 14, 2011 in The Lutheran Home at Topton. She was the widow of Henry S. Herman who died in 2000.

Born in Eden, Lancaster County, PA, she was a daughter of the late Howard C. and Florence J. (Heaps) Lindamuth. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Allentown, where she served as an adult Sunday school teacher and a member of WELCA. She was a homemaker. She was a 1933 graduate of Emmaus High School.

She is survived by Daughter, Joy H., wife of John W. MacMurray, Newtown Square, Delaware County; Sons, Keith H. husband of Roberta L. (Fritz) Herman, Easton, Kent H. husband of Margaret C. (Cosgrove) Herman, Allentown. Other survivors include Sisters, Viola H. (Lindamuth) Korn, and Shirley M. (Lindamuth) Aitkens-Herr, both of Lancaster. There are 7 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren. She was predeceased by 1 Grandson.

Funeral Services are Friday, May 20, 2011, at 10:30 AM from the Chapel in the Henry Auditorium on the Campus of The Lutheran Home at Topton, One South Home Avenue, Topton. Interment in Woodlawn Memorial Park, Allentown. Friends may call Friday, from 9:30 to 10:30 AM in the Henry Auditorium.
