Evelyn F Moyer

Evelyn F. (Smith) Moyer, 100, formerly of Topton, died peacefully Saturday, December 10, 2016 in the Henry Health Care Center of The Lutheran Home at Topton, where she was a resident since May, 2014. She was the widow of Paul J. Moyer, who died in 1980.

Born in Krocksville, Lehigh County, she was a daughter of the late Warren and Almeda (Wolf) Smith. She was a co-owner, along with her late husband, of the former Moyer's Luncheonette, Topton. She also worked as a sewing machine operator for the former General Seating, Topton, for many years.

She is survived by Son, Ray J., husband of Marjorie T. (Keim) Moyer; Grandchildren, Joann Goddard, Charlotte, NC, Michael R. Moyer, Mountain Top, Luzerne County, Peter A. Moyer, Mertztown, and Julia M. Valdez, Portsmouth, VA. There are also 7 Great Grandchildren, Danielle Cameron, Baltimore, MD, Stephanie Radhuber, Charlotte, NC, Rami Dabeet, Fairfax, VA, Emily Dabeet, Portsmouth, VA, Madison Moyer, Mountain Top, Zachary and Chase Moyer, Mertztown. There are also 7 Great-Great Grandchildren, Kayla, Deja, Abraham, Camillia, Zack, Braedon and Cameron.

Graveside services and interment, will be private at the convenience of the family in Becker's-Saint Peter's Cemetery, Richmond Township, with Reverend Carl R. Schmoyer officiating.
