Eva M Denkel

Eva M. Denkel, age 100, of 135 N. 29th St., Allentown PA, formerly of 12 E. Smith St., Topton PA, died Sunday, January 6, 2002 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township PA. She was the Widow of the late the late Fred J. Dankel who died in 1959.

Born in Alburtis PA, she was the Daughter of the late Marcus J. and the late Matilda (Baus) Minck. She was a member of Church of the Good Shepherd United Church of Christ, 135 Quarry Road, Alburtis, and was its oldest member.

She is survived by her Daughters, Mildred D. (Dankel) Roberts of Concord MA, Hope D. (Dankel) Kent of Lancaster PA and Winifred D. (Dankel) Carver of Allentown PA, with whom she resided; Sister, Florence M. (Minck) Mosser of Emmaus PA; 7 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, January 10, 2002, at 1:30 PM from Ludwick Funeral Homes, 25 East Weis Street, Topton PA. Friends may call Thursday, 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM in the Funeral Home. Interment in Longswamp Union Cemetery, Mertztown.
