Esther M Hassler

Esther M. Hassler, 88, of 1 South Home Avenue, Henry Health Care Center, Topton, died Monday, February 14, 2005, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest, where she had been a patient since February 8 ^th . She previously lived at 316 Lyons Road, Lyons Station, PA. She was the wife of the late LeRoy B. Hassler who died on February 19, 2004.

Born in Topton, PA, she was the daughter of the late Victor Z. and the late Annie C. (Trollinger) Rohrbach. She was a weaver at various manufacturing companies in the area during the 1940’s and 1950’s. She was a member of Hope Lutheran Church, Bowers, where she was an active member in church and in charge of the Cradle Roll for 20 years.

She is survived by Son, Rev. Larry R. Hassler, Pine Grove, PA; Daughter, Christine E. (Hassler) Lesher, Hamburg; Brothers, Ernest V. Rohrbach, Topton, Carl D. Rohrbach, North Wales, PA; 3 Grandchildren, 1 Great Granddaughter.

Funeral Services are Friday, February 18, 2005 at 1:00 PM from Hope Lutheran Church, 550 Fleetwood Road, Bowers. Interment in Lyons Cemetery, Lyons. Friends may call Friday from 12:00 Noon to 1:00 PM. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Topton, PA.
