Esther M Boyer

Esther M. Boyer, 86, of Kutztown, formerly of Breinigsville, died Saturday, February 2, 2008 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. She was the widow of Luther S. Boyer who died August 8, 1996.

Born in Topton, she was a daughter of the late Herbert A. and Emma C. (Yeakel) Gordon. She worked as a waitress in various hotels in the local area for ten years. She was a charter member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie #839, Ladies Auxiliary, Kutztown. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Topton.

She is survived by Daughter, Brenda L. (Boyer) wife of Frank D. Knight, Kutztown. In addition, there are 4 Grandchildren, Keith A. Conrad, Luther E. Conrad, Bonnie L. (Conrad) wife of Chester L. Schappell and Leon C. Conrad. There are also 5 Great Grandchildren, Samantha Conrad, Jordan Conrad, Kayla Conrad, Collin Conrad, and Chyanne Koch. She was predeceased by an infant son in 1939, and a Great Grandson, Dylan C. Conrad in 1994.

Funeral Services are Thursday, February 7, 2008, 11:00 AM from Ludwick Funeral Home, 25 East Weis Street, Topton. Interment in Topton Union Cemetery, Topton. Friends may call Wednesday, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the funeral home.
