Essie Evelyn Miller

Essie Evelyn Miller, 77, of Luther Meadows, Topton, died Sunday, May 22, 2011 in The Lutheran Home at Topton. She was the wife of Robert E. Miller.

Born in Betsy Lane, Floyd County, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late Cecil and Vernie “Lou” (Sellards) Blackburn. She was employed as a line packer for Fleetwood Snacks for twenty years until her retirement in the 1990’s. She and her husband were also the owner/operators of Bob & Evelyn’s Variety at Renninger’s Farmers Market, Kutztown for twenty years, retiring in 2004.

She is survived by Husband, Son, Rudy husband of Kay Klaesen, Fort Pierce, FL and a Step-Son, David L. Miller, Fleetwood.

Funeral Services are Saturday, May 28, 2011, at 10:30 AM from Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, 19530. Interment in Zion Maxatawny Union Cemetery, Kutztown. Friends may call Saturday, from 9:30 to 10:30 AM in the funeral home. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
