Ernest W Beitler Jr

Ernest W. Beitler, Jr., entered into eternal rest on September 27, 2006 in San Antonio, TX. He was born June 6, 1937 in Topton, PA to the late Ernest W., Sr., and Rose H. (Smith) Beitler of Hosensack, PA. Ernie is truly loved and admired by all who knew him.

He was a graduate of Lansdale High School Class of 1955 and a veteran of the United States Air Force. His beautiful life included a proud career with USAA in San Antonio, and the Sherwin Williams Co., in Colorado. Ernie had the volunteer spirit and was a very dedicated member of the San Antonio Conservation Society and their festival “A Night in Old San Antonio” and a tax aide for the AARP. His zest for life and love of people continue to inspire.

He is survived by Jamie M. Riexinger, San Antonio, TX, Brother John H. Beitler, Sr., and Marti Drumheller of Hatfield, PA; Niece, Sandra Rose Beitler of Souderton, PA; Nephew John H. Beitler, Jr. and wife Stephanie of Horsham, PA; Aunts, Evelyn F. Moyer of Topton, PA, Maude P. Muth of Whitehall, PA, and Eva Funk of Topton, PA., many cousins, and many loving friends. Ernie never met a person he didn’t like.

Funeral Services are Wednesday, October 4, 2006, at 10:30 AM from Ludwick Funeral Home, 25 East Weis Street, Topton. Interment with Military Honors in Lehigh Zion Cemetery, Alburtis. Friends may call Tuesday from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the funeral home.
