Ernest K Newswanger

Ernest K. Newswanger, 46, of 90 High Road, (Maxatawny Twp.) Kutztown, died Tuesday, June 28, 2005, as the result of injuries sustained in a traffic accident at North Goodspring Road one mile north of Deep Creek Road, Hegins Twp., Schuylkill County. He was the husband of Vera R. (Weaver) Newswanger. They were married on November 19, 1981.

Born in Maxatawny Township, Berks County, PA, he was the son of Rachel E. (Kulp) Newswanger, (Maxatawny Twp.) Kutztown and the late Isaac Z. Newswanger, Sr. He was a self employed farmer for over 20 years and the owner/operator of Newswanger’s Greenhouse and Roadside Stand, (Maxatawny Twp.) Kutztown since 2001. He was a member of the Groffdale Conference attending the Kutztown Old Order Mennonite Church, (Maxatawny Twp.) Kutztown.

(Kurtz) Newswanger, Carson City, Michigan, Phares K. husband of Ellen W. (Burkholder) Newswanger, (Maxatawny Twp.) Kutztown, Lawrence K. husband of Lucy W. (Burkholder) Newswanger, Hubbardston, Michigan; Sisters, Mabel K. (Newswanger) wife of Norman W. Burkholder (Rockland Twp.) Mertztown, Rachel K. (Newswanger) wife of Alvin K. Shirk, Latham, Missouri, Edna K. (Newswanger) wife of Eugene R. Weaver (Richmond Twp.) Fleetwood. He was predeceased by a sister, Rebecca K. (Newswanger) Ringler.

Funeral Services are Saturday, July 2, 2005, at 1:00 PM from his late residence, 90 High Road (Maxatawny Twp.) Kutztown, with services continuing at 1:30 PM in Center Mennonite Church Cemetery, (Maxatawny Twp.) Kutztown. Friends may call Friday, 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at his late residence. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
