Erma M Pennepacker

Erma M. Pennepacker, 97, formerly of Callowhill Street, Topton, died Thursday, February 3, 2011 in the Lutheran Home at Topton, Topton.

Born in Longswamp Township, Berks County, she was a daughter of the late Elias R. and Endora M. (Gehris) Pennepacker. She was a member of St. Peter’s UCC Church, Topton, where she was past treasurer of the Ladies Sunday School from 1957 to 1969. From 1928 to 1940 she was a winder at the former Topton Silk Mill and from 1940 to 1950 she was a stainer at the former Long Valley Rug Mill, both of Topton.

She is survived by Sister, Arline (Moser) Moss, Topton, Half Sister, Roberta A. Geist, Reading; and Half Brother, Carl E. Geist, Coatsville.

Funeral Services are Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at 10:30 AM in the Ludwick Funeral Home, 25 East Weis Street, Topton. Interment in Topton Union Cemetery, Topton. Friends may call Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 AM.

The family requests contributions to St. Peter’s UCC Church, 122 West Franklin Street, Topton, PA 19562. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Topton, PA.
