Erma L Balthaser

Erma L. Balthaser, 91, formerly of S. Laurel Street, Kutztown, died Tuesday, February 22, 2005, in Brookline Manor, Mifflintown, PA (Fermanagh Township, Juniata County) where she had been a resident since May 23, 2000. She was married to the late Luther P. Balthaser who died on April 26, 1991.

Born in Albany Township, Berks County, PA, she was the daughter of the late George J. and the late Katie (Correll) Kistler. She was employed by the former Deisher Knitting Mill, the former Kutztown Wallet Factory, the former Kutztown Silk Mill and Rentschler Bakery, all of Kutztown. She was a member of Zion’s Lutheran Church, Shoemakersville.

She is survived by Daughter, Marie B. (Balthaser) Weidenhammer, Millerstown; Brother, Homer Kistler, Sinking Spring, PA; 2 Grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren.

Funeral Services are Saturday, February 26, 2005 at 10:30 AM from the Ludwick Funeral Home, 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown. Interment in Zion’s Church Cemetery, Windsor Castle. Friends may call Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 AM.

The family requests contributions to the Zion’s Lutheran Church, 354 Zions Church Road, Shoemakersville, PA 19555. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
