Eric E. Eck

Eric E. Eck, 60, of Kutztown, died in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township, on Wednesday, October 17, 2018, as the result of a traffic accident that occured on Tuesday evening in Lower Macungie Township, Lehigh County. Born in Allentown, Eric was a son of the late John R. and Mae P. (DeLong) Eck. Eric worked as a laborer at the former Fleetwood Cookie Factory, Fleetwood, for ten years.

Eric is survived by his sister, Carole F. (DeLong), widow of Ralph R. Merkel, Schwenksville, Montgomery County. He was predeceased by a sister, Marsha E. (Kern) Rothenberger and a brother, Rodney P. Kern.

A funeral service for Eric will be held on Tuesday, October 23, 2018, at 10:30 a.m. from Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 25 East Weis Street, Topton, with Reverend Mark Orton officiating. Interment will follow in Berks County Memorial Gardens, Fleetwood. Relatives and friends may call on Tuesday morning from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
