Emma K Shafer

Emma K. Shafer, 59, of Trexlertown, died Tuesday, May 26, 2009 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. She was the wife of Gary L. Shafer. They were married August 24, 1974.

Born in Lansdale, PA, she was a daughter of the late Wilbur L. and Emma K. (Kratz) Jeffcoat. She was a Terminal Inspector for 15 years at East Penn Manufacturing, Lyons, PA, last working in 1995.

She is survived by Husband, Daughter, Lisa M. Shafer, at home, Brothers Wilbur L. Jeffcoat, Jr., Sumter, South Carolina, and Leonard E. Jeffcoat, Gastonia, North Carolina.

Funeral Services are Friday, May 28, 2009, 11:00 AM from Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc. 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown. Interment in Berks County Memorial Gardens, Fleetwood. Friends may call Thursday, from 7:00 to 8:30 PM in the funeral home. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
