Elwood C. Noll, 77, of Scheiry Road, Fleetwood, died Monday, May 21, 2007 in Bern Township. He was the husband of Pearl C. (Christman) Noll. They were married on July 1, 1950.

Born in Fleetwood, he was the son of the late Levi S. K. and Verna I. (Spohn) Noll. He was a former partner and since 1988 the owner of the DeLong and Trexler Furniture Store, Topton; prior to that he was a knitter at the former Berkshire Knitting Mills, Reading, and the former Fleetwood Embroidery Mills from 1944 to 1952. He was a 1947 graduate of Fleetwood High School. He was a US Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a board member Emeritus of Fleetwood Bank; a member of Huguenot Lodge #377, F. & A.M., he was a member of the executive committee and Past Master and Overseer of Fleetwood Grange #1839; a charter member of the Fleetwood Historical Society; a member of the Old Time Plowboys, Kutztown; and a charter member of the Fleetwood Lions Club. He and his wife Pearl were partners in the “De Alud Scheirer Blotz” Pole Barn Museum. He was a member of St. Paul’s UCC Church, Fleetwood, where he was a past deacon during the 1970’s.

He is survived by Wife, Son, Michael D. husband of Gail L. (Graner); Daughter, Debra S. (Noll) wife of Dale A. Dietrich; Sister, Shirley R. (Noll) widow of George A. Keller, all of Fleetwood; Grandchildren, Christopher A. and Andrea L. Dietrich; Step Grandchildren, Amy C. Kepner, Beth A. Gauker, David A. Knoll; Step Great Grandchildren, Mekena L. and Hayley J. Kepner and Codi L. and Lanie K. Gauker. He was predeceased by Sister, Elsie M. (Noll) widow of Harold E. Conrad.

Funeral Services are Friday, May 25, 2007 at 10:30 AM in St. Paul’s UCC Church, 5 West Arch Street, Fleetwood. Interment with Military Honors in Berks County Memorial Gardens, Fleetwood. Friends may call Thursday from 7:00 to 8:30 PM and Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 AM in the church, Masonic Services at 10:15 AM.

The family requests contributions to St. Paul’s UCC Church Memorial Fund, 5 West Arch Street, Fleetwood, 19522 or the Fleetwood Historical Society, 110 W. Arch Street, Suite 1, Fleetwood, 19522. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Topton, PA.
