Elsie M Irwin

Elsie M. Irwin, 93, of Topton, died Monday, July 23, 2012 in The Lutheran Home at Topton. She was the widow of Robert E. Irwin.

Born in West Reading, she was a daughter of the late Charles E. and Edith M. (Reinert) Mabry. Mrs. Irwin was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Reading. She was a 1936 graduate of Muhlenberg High School. She was employed as a statistician by American Casualty Insurance Co., Reading for many years.

She is survived by Granddaughter, Lydia J. (Irwin) wife of Christopher Menio, Hellertown; Grandson, Benjamin T. Irwin husband of Angela M. Colasanti, Chester Springs, Chester Co.; Great Granddaughters, Sarah Menio and Mae Shi QingYang Irwin. She was predeceased by a Son, Barry N. Irwin in 2003, 3 Sisters, and a Brother.

Graveside services and inurnment will be held Friday, August 3, 2012 at 10:00 AM in Berks County Memorial Gardens, 201 Evansville Road, Fleetwood, PA 19522. There are no calling hours.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to a charity of ones choice. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Topton, PA.
