Elizabeth L Carr

Elizabeth L. (Scholl) Carr, 78, of Topton, PA and formerly of Deltona, FL was released from her long suffering on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at Lehigh Valley Hospital.

She was a daughter of the late W. Lee and Grace I. (DeTurk) Scholl. She graduated from Philadelphia General Hospital School of Nursing and retired as an RN at Kutztown University in 1991. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and sewing and volunteered for the Blind Association of Allentown. She served as president of the PA Nurses Association – Kutztown University Chapter from 1988-1992.

She is survived by Daughters, Carol Carr, Topton, Lois Kunkle, Mertztown and Ellen Reilley, King Ferry, NY; 8 Grandchildren and 3 Great-Grandchildren; Siblings, William Scholl, Kutztown, Eugene Scholl, Los Angeles, CA, Ann Roschinsky, Landenberg, PA, nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her Husband, William J., Daughter, Ann E. Ferry, and Brother, Kenneth Scholl.

Memorial Services are Saturday, November 12, 2011 at Trinity Lutheran Chuch, 357 W. Main St. Kutztown, PA at 11:00 AM. Calling hours are from 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the church.
