Elizabeth A Heimbach

Elizabeth A. “Betty” Heimbach, 81, of Benton, PA, died Tuesday, June 13, 2006 in her residence. She was the widow of the late Paul Heimbach.

Born in Hancock, Longswamp Township, PA, she was the daughter of the late George and Elsie (Gracely) Engle. She was a sewing machine operator at Catasauqua Garment during the 1950’s.

She is survived by Son, Raymond J., Jr., husband of Barbara A. (Snyder) Katz, Benton; Sister, Delores “Dolly” (Diehl) Haas, Fleetwood; Brother, Robert Diehl, Macungie; Grandchildren, Ray. S. husband of Mary P. (Frey) Katz, Benton; Lee A. (Katz) wife of Ernest I. Ruch, Jr., Orefield; and Cheryl L. (Katz) wife of Glen A. Werley, Trexlertown; Great Grandchildren, Angela M. (Katz) wife of John Purcell, Topton; Ray C. Katz, Denver; Gary M. Werley, Trexlertown; Ernest I. Ruch, III, Orefield; Amber L. Werley, Trexlertown; Christopher Cody Ruch, Orefield; Brett R. Katz, Fleetwood; and, Great Grandchildren Dylan C. Purcell and Haley E. Purcell both of Topton.

Funeral Services are Saturday, June 18, 2006 at 10:30 AM, in the Ludwick Funeral Home, 25 E. Weis Street, Topton. Interment in Longswamp Union Cemetery, Mertztown. Family and friends may call, Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 AM.

The family requests contributions to The American Cancer Society, 3893 Alder Place, Bethlehem, PA  18017. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Topton, PA.
