Eleanor S Moyer

Eleanor S. (Strock) Moyer, a resident of Grand View Manor, Fleetwood, and formerly of Bethlehem, died Monday, June 8, 2015 in HCR ManorCare, Laureldale. She was the widow of Francis J. Moyer who died August 17, 1998.

Born in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late Irvin and Mary Mae (Sheets) Strock. Mrs. Moyer was a graduate of Liberty High School, Bethlehem, and worked as a materials handler at the former Western Electric and Bell Labs, Allentown, for over 30 years. Eleanor was an avid bowler and baker. In her youth in the 1940's, Eleanor was a singer in various local bands.

She is survived by Son, Barry W. Moyer, husband of Andrea L. Overfield, Maidencreek Township; Grandson, Michael C. Moyer, husband of Janel Bushman Moyer, Oceanview, DE; Sister, Carolyn (Strock) Scurry, Bethlehem. She was predeceased by her Husband, Francis; Son, David Moyer; and 7 brothers and sisters.

Graveside services and inurnment will be held at a later date in Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Allentown.
